Engine Service Calculator/Shopping Cart Question: What does it cost to service, or rebuild a Rotax Engine? Answer: The simple answer is: Labor plus parts. As you may suspect, the biggest variable is parts. Based on Green Sky's twenty years experience with Rotax UL series engines, our opinion is: the random replacement of parts, without considering condition, is not always mechanically or economically justified. Consequently, we usually choose to service engines the hard way, inspecting, measuring, grading, and documenting. If you prefer random replacement this calculator will give an idea of the expense. Pricing Note: We received a notice of price increases and a new price list for Rotax parts around the beginning of Mar 2003. The new price list states: Effective Feb. 15, 2003. We have since been advised that this is not the final word on parts prices and that the increase may not be a much as the new price list states.
